CHHS students have free access to many resources both on campus and through the local community. Here is a compiled list of helpful links and info about resources free to all CSUMB students, updated as we hear of new or changed opportunities.

FOOD RESOURCES:
CalFresh
-- a nutrition assistance program that provides monthly funds for groceries for individuals and families who are eligible.
FreshAccess
--a program that enables students to receive fresh produce at select local farmers markets.
The Hub
--the main campus food pantry which is also a space for students to connect with resources to assist them with meeting their basic needs
Otter Bites
--the supplemental snack pantry created by and maintained by the CHHS Program staff with donations from the community and All In Monterey County. Otter Bites is available to anyone in the CSUMB community during the HHSPP Department posted business hours in Ocean Hall Suite D.
All In Monterey County
--a local nonprofit providing free resources weekly to the community. They have free groceries via a Giving Market at Marina High and Giving Drive Thru at Seaside High. They also offer free clothing and other essentials like hygiene and cleaning products by appointment via their Kindness Closet just down the street from CSUMB.
FINANCIAL RESOURCES:
CSUMB Emergency Fund
--financial assistance for students who may encounter temporary financial hardship due to unforeseen and catastrophic life events.
CSUMB Scholarships
--CSUMB offers many scholarships for students. Take special note of the scholarship available only to CHHS students, which was created and funded by one of our own CHHS professors! Read the story behind the Louis Siebenmorgen scholarship.

HEALTH and WELLBEING RESOURCES:
CSUMB Personal Growth and Counseling Center
--The center on campus that supports the mental health of CSUMB students in order to improve the quality of their lives and aid them in achieving academic success. They offer workshops, individual counseling, referrals to outside resources, and a variety of support groups for the CSUMB community.
Campus Health Center
--The campus health center provides urgent, primary, and diagnostic care, as well as referral services to students, faculty, staff, their dependents, and guests of the CSUMB community.
California Health & Human Services - Mental Health Resources
--A hub of information, hotlines, and and resources supporting mental health of young adults and families, including crisis support hotlines, education about mental health issues, and tools to support students.
HOUSING RESOURCES:
Housing Resource Center of Monterey County
--The Housing Resource Center of Monterey County (HRC) is an independent non-profit housing resource agency. They provide resources ranging from emergency rental assistance to home ownership.

--Supports students in finding and deciding on appropriate housing solutions while in school
