The College of Business is a leader in business education. At CSUMB, business students learn to develop and transform businesses and nonprofits into modern community-focused organizations, achieving financial success while caring for human and environmental resources in an ethical and equitable manner. The College of Business is focused on student success, academic excellence, transformational innovation, community responsibility and societal impact. With our unique focus on Responsible Business, we're preparing tomorrow's business leaders to make a positive impact on their local communities and the world.
Why Our College Stands Out
Students choose to learn business at CSUMB because of our college’s dedication to ethics and equity, making it stand out above any other business program in the world. Students also love the incorporation of service learning and have found that volunteering and making an impact in the community strengthens their passion for equitable business.
Our small class sizes allow students to connect one-on-one with their professors, who are deeply invested in their students’ success. The capstone project provides students with hands-on experience as they collaborate with their teammates to create professional presentations, and all of our students gain real-world experience through internships. As a result, our students are often hired in full-time positions before or immediately after graduation.
