The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology

The Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program at California State University, Monterey Bay is an innovative degree program that prepares future practitioners to better serve our local communities through a thorough understanding of human communication and its disorders. By creating a foundation based on evidence-based practices, community partnerships, and innovative technologies, our students come out of the program as ethically responsible professionals who are prepared to practice in a variety of interdisciplinary settings.

The Master’s of Science program in speech-language pathology at California State University, Monterey Bay is a Candidate for Accreditation by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.  This is a “pre-accreditation” status with the CAA, awarded to developing or emerging programs for a maximum period of five years.
