About the scholarship
RISE students that complete the program will receive a $1,000 college scholarship upon enrollment in an accredited college or university. The $1,000 will be split into two installments: $500 each semester for students attending institutions operating on the semester system OR two installments of $500 distributed in fall and spring semesters for quarter system students.
After the first year at a four-year university, RISE Alumni are eligible to apply to the RISE Renewal Scholarship. The Renewal Scholarship will award RISE Alumni with an additional $1,000 scholarship, as long as they are still pursuing a STEM related degree at a four-year university.
