Founded in 1995, the Institute for Community Collaborative Studies (ICCS) is a unique community/university center of excellence that conducts community research, and designs innovative program practices and community initiatives that facilitates the development of collaborative partnerships to improve health, human services and public policy initiatives especially for children, families and communities in the Monterey Bay, California and across the United States.

Dedicated to life long learning and involvement in real-life application of health, human service, and public policy theory, our faculty regularly contributes to the body of knowledge of their respective fields via research and publication of their work.
