Habitat Stewardship Project, Monterey Bay Programs
School Programs
Habitat Stewardship Project, Monterey Bay (HSPMB) is a school based environmental education project dedicated to involving students (kindergarten through university) in native habitat and watershed restoration projects in their schoolyard and community.
HSPMB works with schools throughout the Monterey Bay region. HSPMB's school programs use native plants to facilitate lessons about watershed health, habitat restoration and community engagement through hands on participation. Students work with each other as they turn the outdoors into their classrooms, while meeting California state science standards along the way.
