Academic coaching and academic skills workshops

Peer and faculty mentoring, tutoring, research and internship support, academic advising, academic/career/personal development skills workshops, student lab, financial literacy and graduate school exploration.

Urgent, primary, and ancillary health care; referrals to other health services.

Crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, mental health workshops and training, consultation, peer education, campus chaplaincy, and referrals.

Academic and personal support services for students with learning, psychological, and/or physical disabilities.

University Police offers an array of services ranging from Parking Permits, Free Night Walk Services on campus to handling emergency procedures (Otter Alert) such as building evacuations, illness or injury, crimes in progress, fires and explosions, earthquake management, bomb threat, hazardous material spill, active shooter, blue light emergency phones, and AED placements.

Student housing questions, finding housing on or off campus, and getting involved.

Technology assistance and support across the campus community.

Comprehensive advising on Federal, VA, CA State and campus benefits and services available for students who are active military members, veterans, and their dependents. Appointments are recommended.

Since March 2009 CSUMB has partnered with Early Development Services (EDS) to provide quality, licensed, affordable childcare to the campus community. EDS has served the City of Seaside for nearly 13 years and is a NAEYC accredited agency.
