Fort Ord Dunes State Park opened to public access sometime in late 2007. There are two main access points: Eighth-street gate and an underpass near the County Planning Office. From time to time this web site will be updated with environmental monitoring information and links related to the park, or to the coastline near the park. This is a dynamic landscape where environmental change is happening fast.
