Cycle of Restoration Program
The Cycle of Restoration is a program for 3rd-6th grade students with a focus on habitat restoration and planting native plants. Students participate in multiple experiences with RON staff through out the year. Lessons may include a RON classroom introduction, a native seed collection field trip, seed sowing and a winter or spring planting event. This program takes students into beautiful outdoor areas such as Fort Ord National Monument, Fort Ord Dunes State Park and Monterey State Beach to get their hands dirty through hands on participation in real restoration efforts!
