Melissa Garren, Ph.D.

I am a marine biologist who works at the intersection of coastal communities, marine ecosystems, technology, and policy. I run a consulting firm, Working Ocean Strategies, that specializes in strategy and research to augment the positive impact (social, environmental, and financial) of organizations working in the oceans space. We also engage heavily on issues of social and environmental justice through our work with the Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide.
