Michael Guerrero is a software engineer and lecturer at the MOVES Institute (Modeling, Virtual Environments, and Simulations) and CSUMB. His development efforts center around “serious” games and academic research and he specializes in game development and graphics programming. He has been credited on dozens of games and has shipped titles for both the PC and consoles.

As a teacher, Michael is passionate about making complex topics accessible and enjoyable by all without diluting the richness of the source. Nothing illustrates this better than his Graphics Programming course which was designed from scratch with this in mind. His current research interests are centered around utilizing mixed reality media (VR / AR) for education.
