CSUMB now has a CCTC approved Clear Education Specialist Credential Program! We will be offering this program within the Master of Arts in Education, Special Education Emphasis Program, and are now accepting applications for the Fall 2015 semester.

The School of Education offers a teacher preparation (credential) program for those desiring to become elementary teachers (K-8), course work for those preparing to be secondary (high school) teachers or special education teachers, and graduate level course work leading to master's degrees and certificates.
Our programs are accredited at both the state and national levels and are accessible full time and part time using face to face and online/hybrid classes.

The Multiple Subject Credential Program is designed for those interested in teaching in culturally and linguistically diverse classrooms (grades K-8).
The Single Subject Credential Program is designed for those interested in teaching in diverse high school classrooms (grades 7-12)
The Special Education Program prepares professionals to teach students with disabilities and their families.
CSUMB's Teacher Intern Pathway (CTIP) allows credential program students to teach and earn a preliminary credential at the same time.
AB2086 requires all teacher preparation programs to provide information, as specified, to prospective candidates regarding the license examination passage rates for the most recent available year. To comply with this requirement, CSUMB pass rate data can be viewed here.
