CS program faculty and staff believe in the power of cohort based programs to build an excellent learning community. Along with supporting the academic, professional and personal growth of all of our students, we have seen that cohort programs naturally provide better support to women and minority students, traditionally underrepresented in computing. We offer multiple cohort based programs to provide these additional benefits to our students and evaluate ourselves rigorously to continue investing only in approaches that work:

  • CS++ is a cohort based program with a predefined four year pathway and excellent academic support services.
  • CSin3 is a three year cohort based program developed in collaboration with Hartnell college.
