Background

Stephanie is a, cis gendered, first generation, Latina female, from Los Angeles, CA. Her pronouns are, she, her, hers. She enjoys spending time with her husband, being outdoors and having family game nights!

She joined the Personal Growth & Counseling Center in Fall 2020 as a psychology intern. Stephanie is passionate about supporting students while they work through identity issues, relationship concerns, and issues related to anxiety and depression. Stephanie values and is passionate about cultural issues and encourages cultural conversation in the therapy room.

Experience

Stephanie has experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. She has worked with college students, in a student training setting, at Biola University in La mirada, CA. She has also worked with sexual assault survivors at community mental health setting at Project Sister Family Services in Pomona, CA.

Education

Stephanie received her B.A. in Psychology from CSUF in 2015. She attended Biola University, received her M.A. in Clinical Psychology in 2018 and has her Psy.D in Clinical Psychology from Biola University.
