Personal Growth and Counseling Center

CSUMB Health and Wellness Services MSW Intern Training Program

The CSUMB Health and Wellness Services MSW Intern Training Program includes internship positions in three units: Personal Growth & Counseling Center (PGCC), Student Disability and Accessibility Center (SDAC), Campus Health Center (CHC), and Health Promotions & Education (HPE).

At CSUMB Health and Wellness Services, we strive to assist members of our campus community with achieving and maintaining physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Our MSW interns are an integral part of our efforts to reach this goal.

MSW interns are viewed as developing professionals and are given opportunities to gain the foundational knowledge and skills needed for a career in Social Work. The guiding principles of the Health and Wellness Services MSW Intern Training Program are to value the self-worth of each individual, respect and embrace human diversity, and provide the high-quality training and supervision needed to begin developing a solid professional Social Work identity.
