World Languages and Cultures
2021 Capstone
The Faculty in the School of World Languages and Cultures was pleased to present the 2021 WLC Capstone Festival held in streaming format Thursday and Friday, May 20-21, 2021. Students earning the B.A. in Japanese Language and Culture (JLC), and the B.A. in Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures (SLHC) from CSU Monterey Bay presented their Capstone project work. These projects reflect the synthesis of knowledge, skills, and abilities developed over the course of a student’s learning experience at CSUMB.
The School of World Languages and Cultures is part of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences (CAHSS).

The WLC Major Capstone (WLC400) was taught by Dr. Christine Fernández, Dr. Shigekko Sekine, and Dr. Dustin Wright. The 2021 WLC Capstone Project Course Instructors were Dr. Christine Fernández, Dr. Shigeko Sekine, and Dr. Dustin Wright.
Format: Students have pre-recorded their presentations, and will take questions live following the playback of their presentation.
