Workshop Participant Learning Outcomes
After this workshop, participants will be able to
- Create a visual representation of the critical thinking process that helps you and others better understand what critical thinking is and how to do and apply it.
- Apply the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Critical Thinking VALUE Rubric to different activities in different contexts to help students and faculty develop a shared understanding of what constitutes critical thinking.
- Create assignment tasks that better elicit and assess critical thinking (faculty learning outcome).
- Respond to assignment tasks in ways that better demonstrate critical thinking (student learning outcome).
