CAT & TLA Winter Institute 2021
We would like to invite all faculty to the Winter Institute for 2021. This will be a low stress, user friendly professional development experience to prepare your Canvas course for the Spring term.
Beginning January 19, the 2021 Winter institute will provide a four day roadmap to building a well designed course in Canvas. Participants will have the opportunity to complete four modules over four days through guided daily activities starting with a daily workshop to get introduced to the day’s tasks. Alternatively, participants can work independently at their own pace.
At the end of the institute participants will have one Canvas course with at least two weeks of content, reviewed by peers, and ready to teach. Multiple modes of support will be available: For assistance throughout the Winter Institute, one-on-one support from CAT, peer support in the discussion forums in the course, and guided self-help tutorials will be provided.
