Before enrolling into ENGR 394: Internship in Engineering, please ensure you satisfy the following:
1. Received an internship offer letter
2. Reviewed course prerequisites
3. Received instructor consent to enroll
ENGR 394: Course Registration Process

After placement is registered and the forms have been completed by all parties (student, internship site supervisor, internship course faculty), student may begin internship experience at the site on the date that was listed as the start date on the Learning Agreement.
2. Complete a minimum of 60 internship hours
3. Students are encouraged to track their hours either on the Cal State S4 System or personal timesheet.
Cal State S4 System
The Cal State S4 Database is accessible on the CSUMB Dashboard.

After registering into ENGR 394, students must log their internship placement in the database. The database tracks internship progress, and establishes a learning agreement between the student, internship site, the Mechatronics Engineering Department, and California State University, Monterey Bay.
