Safety, Risk & Sustainability provides University employees with guidance and support to promote and integrate health and safety into all University activities. You play a key role in our safety community; we can't do it alone! We hope and encourage employees to report safety issues they may observe across campus. If you see something that should be addressed, we depend on you to report it. If you see something, say something.
To report a non-emergency hazardous materials spill, call the safety line at 831-582-3730.
If you would like to report a safety concern or non-emergency issue or make a suggestion to improve campus safety, please submit a Safety Communication Form. You may use this form or email safety@csumb.edu to report COVID-19 non-compliance (people without face-coverings, lack of social distancing).

Near miss? Report it here!
A near miss is an unplanned event that did not result in injury, illness, or damage – but had the potential to do so. Reporting near miss incidents will help us improve upon existing work practices and ultimately result in safer work environments for our employees. To report a near-miss incident, please complete the Safety Communication Form.
