    Dear Faculty and ISTs: This is the second reminder that the final transition to the new chemical inventory system is coming January 17th. CSUMB will discontinue use of Chimera and change to RSS Chemicals for our inventory and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) record system. Visit our page for more information.

  • Risk & Safety Solutions

    Attention College of Science Faculty and ISTs: Over the past year, the campus has slowly integrated the use of the Risk & Safety Solutions software. There are four modules that CSUMB has adopted: 1) Assess, 2) Inspect, 3) Chemicals, and now 4) Drones. Please visit our news page to learn more about this important transition.   • Drinking Water Quality Testing

    Cal State Monterey Bay pro-actively sampled drinking water sources across campus to ensure we meet the California Drinking Water Standard limits for lead of 15 parts per billion (ppb) set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

  • 2018 Consumer Confidence Report Marina Coast Water District

    The 2018 Consumer Confidence Report, about the quality of drinking water served to the Marina and Ord Communities, is now posted on Marina Coast Water District's website.

  • Otter Safety Spotlight

    The Otter Safety Spotlight was created as a campus-wide communication tool to help our community learn about various safety related topics. The electronic newsletter supports the University’s “green” initiatives while offering useful health and safety, emergency preparedness, and public safety tips. It is our goal to communicate hazards that may be present in our community and offer tips for creating a culture of safety.
