Cody J. Roberts

Cody J. Roberts is a recent M.A Graduate of CSU Chico, where he recently delivered the commencement speech in May 2023. He successfully defended his thesis in April of 2023 and graduated from CSU Chico with his Masters Degree shortly thereafter. His finished M.A Project titled "How It Felt To Run" is currently in available on scholar works. 


Cody's focuses within his teaching and studies surround the concepts of identity based academic writing and reinvention of Contemporary Literary Canon. Currently, he is working on a secondary research project based on his interest in student identity and the pedagogy of "self-implication" within academic writing and reading. Cody is teaching three sections of HCOM-125 with students who are "constantly inspiring and teaching him."
