Adrian Andrade '98: HCOM Faculty

According to Adrian Andrade, HCOM had changed his life. Working closely with cohort peers, under direction of the finest professors on the planet, assisted him in fleshing out his own interests and thus, true passion in life, which has since become EDUCATION.

An HCOM graduate from the class of 1998, a claim to fame was that Adrian won first place in the CSU System state-wide research competition in 1999. As a small college at the time, it gave CSUMB some recognition. After HCOM, Adrian was guided forth and supported into the Masters of Multicultural Education Program here at CSUMB, which he successfully completed in May of 2000. He then became a faculty member at California State University at Monterey Bay working in various departments. Adrian posits that he absolutely relishes his position as an instructor in today's diverse post-secondary academic environment and cannot visualize himself being anywhere else.
