Dr. Babita Gupta and Team Present Research on Generative AI in Knowledge Management at AMCIS 2024

August 15-17, 2024 – Dr. Babita Gupta and co-authors, Anitha Chennamaneni and Nuruddin Shan, both from Texas A & M University-Central Texas, presented their research paper titled, "Generative AI Augmented Knowledge Management Systems: Exploring Employee Perceptions and Attitudes," at the 2024 Americas Conference on Information Systems held August 15-17 in Salt Lake City. The study examines how Generative AI can help employees explore and transform organizational knowledge to enhance performance and effectiveness. Read the abstract of the paper here.
Dr. Babita Gupta, Ph.D. has a doctorate in Management Sciences and Information Technology from the University of Georgia, Athens, GA. She is a Professor of Information Systems at CSUMB and faculty lead for the Business Analytics & Information Systems concentration within the BSBA degree program. She is a member of the Association for Information Systems and serves on the Governor’s Cybersecurity Taskforce, the International Journal of Information Management Editorial Advisory Board, and the Association for Information System College of Academic Leadership Advisory Board. Dr. Gupta actively researches, presents, and publishes in the subject areas of business intelligence, management information systems, business analytics, and more.
