Dr. Babita Gupta Recognized as Distinguished Member - Cum Laude by Association of Information Systems
December 2, 2020 – Dr. Babita Gupta, Information Systems Professor, received the honor of being recognized as a "Distinguished Member - Cum Laude" by the Association of Information Systems (AIS). This significant distinction is based on her research in the AIS journals and the service to the AIS in the leadership roles. AIS is the world's leading IS society and this is a notable recognition.
Dr. Gupta is also the Director of Accreditation (AACSB) for the COB, IS program faculty lead, co-chair of COB's Strategic Plan and Accreditation Committee, and core member of COB Committee on Curriculum and Assurance of Learning.
The AIS Distinguished Member program recognizes members who have made a significant impact on the association. The Distinguished Member - Cum Laude designation is for those who exceed the requirement by holding continuous AIS membership for at least 10 years, service in a leadership role in AIS or AIS-related activity and have been published in at least four publications in an AIS or AIS-affiliated journal.
