Dr. John Olson featured on CBC Radio

January 14, 2019

School of Natural Sciences Assistant Professor, Dr. John. Olson, was recently featured on CBC radio discussing the findings from his published research on Predicting the combined effects of land use and climate change on river and stream salinity.

This study revealed that land use and climate change have led to increased salinity levels in at least one third of U.S. rivers and streams. Increased salinity levels within these waterways can threaten freshwater resources, biodiversity and ecosystems as a whole across the United States.
