Sign Up for Safe Zone Training

The purpose of CSUMB Safe Zone is to help build an inclusive and equitable campus community where all members of diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and gender expressions are welcomed, valued, and affirmed. Through an educational training experience and on-going learning opportunities, this program encourages participants to identify themselves as visible supporters of LGBTQQIAAPF (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Ally, Pansexual, Fluid) community at CSUMB. This program will strengthen students, faculty, and staff in bringing to life CSUMB's Vision of being a socially just community with a "substantive commitment to multilingual, multicultural, and gender-equitable learning."

Upon successful completion of the Safe Zone training, participants will receive:

  1. Official Safe Zone certificate
  2. Safe Zone resource guide
  3. Official Safe Zone signage (window clings, stickers, buttons, etc.) to display in your office/classroom/etc.

Any CSUMB staff and faculty member is welcome to attend the training.

Registration will re-open March 2018.
