Private Housing Accommodation Policy

How to Apply for Housing Accommodation:

Step 1

Start with the Student Disability and Accessibility Center (SDAC)

  • Visit the SDAC webpage and follow their process.
    • Submit an application for accommodations or renew your accommodations.
    • Schedule a meeting time with SDAC and an advisor.

Step 2

Apply for Housing

  • Complete your housing application in the MyHousing Portal.
  • Be sure to answer the preference questions related to your accommodation needs.

Step 3

Housing Placement

  • Once your application(s) are processed, SDAC will collaborate with Student Housing & Residential Life to find a space that meets your accommodation needs, based on availability.

Apply early! While we do our best to accommodate requests, housing accommodations are not guaranteed, and availability is limited. Applying early gives you the best chance of securing a space that meets your needs.
