Important Update for East Campus Residents: Please pay your housing installment fees directly through OASIS, not through RentCafe.

CSUMB Student Housing and Residential Life has instituted an installment payment plan to assist students and supporters in paying for the cost of housing and meal plans.

All students who live in campus housing (Residence Halls, North Quad, Promontory, or Frederick Park) will automatically be enrolled in a Housing Installment Payment Plan at no additional cost.

How It Works

The housing cost per semester is broken down into five payments. Each payment is broken down into 1/5 of the total cost of housing for that semester.

To view your anticipated aid in OASIS, please select the View Financial Aid link under Finances and then select your Aid Year. In order to make sure your installment payments are made correctly, please choose the "Housing Payments" option for the housing installment, and the "Meal Payments" option for your meal plan installment.

How to Make a Housing and Dining Payment

  1. Log into your CSUMB Dashboard.
  2. Click on OASIS and make sure you are in the Student Center.
  3. Scroll down to the finance section and click “Account Inquiries” to see a detailed breakdown of your charges.
  4. On the “Account Inquiries” page, review your housing charges under the “Charges Due” tab located at the top. 
  5. You will see a charge for Housing and Dining based on your assigned room type and meal plan selection (pages 27-28).
  6. Click the link “multiple” to review the breakdown of each month.
  7. Go back to the previous page, scroll down to the finance section, and click “Make a Payment.” This will bring you to CASHnet.
  8. Click the “View details” link for “Housing Payments - Fall” and “Meal Payments - Fall.”  
  9. Based on the “8/1/2024” amount, enter the charges and add them to your cart.
  10. Complete your payment, and you will receive a confirmation email.
