The Health, Human Services, and Public Policy Department is recognized for unique and innovative programs that provide students, who are interested in careers in the health and human services, nonprofit management and public administration professions, with integrative and multidisciplinary learning opportunities including academic study and field-based practice in community-based agencies.

Students develop the knowledge, skills and values of collaborative leadership, professional ethics, cross cultural competence, and the use of technology in all HHSPP programs. In addition, the processes essential to empowering individuals, families, organizations, and communities seeking to create positive change in society are emphasized as important academic and professional goals for students, faculty and staff.
