Doreen Danielson

Dr. Doreen Danielson’s philosophy centers around student learning and continuous personal and professional growth. She is always tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each student population, ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to thrive and grow. Guided by the motto “Ancora imparo” (I am still learning), she brings two decades of experience in higher education, teaching, research, and administration across diverse institutions, including California community colleges, California State Universities (CSU), and 12 years as an award-winning professor within the University of California (UC) system. Primarily working within Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), Dr. Danielson has applied her research to develop innovative fundraising strategies, HCOM academic programs, HCOM accredited courses, and corporate partnerships aimed at supporting minority and low-income student populations.

As a serial entrepreneur and Board Certified Naturopathic Practitioner, Dr. Danielson splits her time between teaching at CSUMB and treating clients at her latest skin wellness and pain management clinic. Her hobbies include talking long walks, playing the piano, painting, and continuing research in Bioelectricity and Sacred Texts.
