Department of Cinematic Arts & Technology

Open Lab is a time set aside for students to use the space to finish their assignments. Our computers are running Mac OS with Avid Media Composer, Davinci Resolve, Photoshop, DragonFrame, After Effects, and many more post production software. Our Media Technicians are available if a student encounters any technical errors during open lab hours.

To know when Open Lab is happening, please refer to the Drive Sheet Linked to below. If classes or meetings are in session, please do not disturb.

For anytime access to our computer software, there are four iMacs in the Library, Room 1111, behind the left side of Peet's and left side of IT Help Desk. These stations are very popular with our students as they can come and go as they please, depending on availability. The computers have the exact same loadset as our computers in the Edit Lab and Control Room.

If there are any errors you encounter with the computers during your time of use, please contact us immediately. We would like to get it fixed and in working conditions at all times.
