Winter Institute 2024
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment and the Center for Academic Technologies are fully invested in and committed to faculty growth, development, and success. We are proud to announce the TLA/CAT Winter Institute during Planning Week, January 18 - 19, 2024.
- To freshen up your wellness commitments for spring, we are partnering with Exercise is Medicine for you to experience a few 30-minute clinics on campus: Walk and Talk with the President, Provost, and AVP; Resistance Training; and Yoga.
- TLA is also offering virtual opportunities to engage with colleagues during two pedagogy sessions: the Teaching Pedagogy Learning Lab and the Classroom Problem-Solving to Increase Belonging and Engagement session.
- TLA is also partnering with the Personal Growth and Counseling Center to offer the on campus and virtual Care Collaborative.
- CAT will offer virtual opportunities to streamline your courses and lighten your load as we prepare for the semester.
- Remember also the Racial Day of Healing activities on Tuesday, January 16th.
Below are the professional development options and instructions for how to sign up. The Winter Institute is a volunteer experience designed to start your semester with inspiration, support, and community.

Enhance Your Technology Tools: Center for Academic Technology: Streamline Your Courses CAT will offer virtual opportunities to streamline your courses and lighten your load as we prepare for the semester.
