Service Learning Institute

My name is Ruben Sanchez Lule and I am from Salinas. My pronouns are He/Him/His. I am a third-year Majoring in Business Admin and with a concentration in Accounting. I decided to become a Service Learning Student Leader because of the opportunity to help students find a great place/site where they can learn and sharpen their skills as well as gain experience when it comes to serving the community. I am also part of College Corps and my site is MLK School of the Arts. As for my Hobbies, I enjoy reading, running, and watching sports. My favorite books are “The Secret” and “The Tipping Point: How little things can make a big difference”. In the  future, I would like to become an Entrepreneur and a Construction Superintendent. My social justice interests are Education in low-income communities, Immigration, and Environmental Racism. These different topics have impacted my life in many ways and I would like to help others who might be facing issues related to my interests.
