Online summer session at J.F. Oberlin University
The J.F. Oberlin University Online Summer Session is part of the Education Abroad Virtual International Passport (VIP) Program offering for the summer of 2021. An Education Abroad VIP program is an online experience that connects you with international opportunities and infuses your educational experience with a global foundation. Just as in a traditional Education Abroad program, you’ll take courses from instructors who are experts in the field and often are on the ground in the location you are learning about.

Japanese in Action

Total Credits: 4 Credits
Note: In your official transcript, the above 4 credits will appear as Japanese Communication A (Japanese in Action), 2 credits; Japanese Communication B (Experiential Activities in Japanese), 2 credits
This program is intended for those who have completed first year Japanese or the equivalent of JLPT N5 or higher.
Japanese instructors will assume students have the equivalent of the JF Japanese-Language Education Standard [equivalent to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages] A1 or higher.
