Advising Appointments

Before scheduling an appointment with our Education Abroad Advisor, please attend an Education Abroad 101 information session. Sessions are offered both in-person and virtually throughout the semester. To register for upcoming sessions and events, join the Education Abroad group in MyRaft

Schedule a virtual or in-person appointment: Ensures a dedicated time for the student, reducing waiting times. It also allows for better organization and planning for both the student and our Education Abroad Advisor.

Virtual Drop-in Hours: Swing by (without a prior appointment) for an informal chat with our Education Abroad Advisor. This option is suitable for students whose program application deadlines are approaching quickly and offers flexibility for students who may have unpredictable schedules.

Show up virtually during our drop-in hours on Fridays, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, and wait for your turn on a first-come, first-served basis.

Presentation Request Form

To schedule a classroom presentation, please complete our Presentation Request Form at least two weeks in advance. The earlier, the better, as our presentation slots fill up quickly.

Please keep in mind the following details:

  • Limited Availability: We have a limited number of slots. Requests for evenings, weekends, campus breaks, and finals will be considered but are not guaranteed.
  • Plan Ahead: Submit your request as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

We look forward to sharing the transformative experiences of studying abroad with your community! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at educationabroad@csumb.edu
