Collaboration in Action:  CAHSS joined together with College of Science and College of Health Sciences & Human Services for a day of leadership professional development for chairs and staff.  The day was led by Jeanne Hey, founder of Hey University.  The full-day event started with a session for department chairs and office of the dean staff and included interactive workshops on The Balancing Acts of Academic Leadership.  After lunch, department support staff and technical staff joined the group for sessions on The Department Head's Essential Duties and Time & Task Management: How to Handle Competing Priorities and Stay Emotionally Healthy.  

Dean Cole and Associate Dean Horvath first met Jeanne Hey at the 2022 Council of Colleges of Arts & Sciences (CCAS) annual conference and wanted to bring her workshop to CSUMB.
