Dr. Hussar strives to support CSUMB's students, faculty, staff, and administration in service of the university's mission. He joins us from Cal State Fullerton, where he served since 2008 in various roles including Professor of Spanish and Portuguese, chair of the Department of Modern Languages & Literatures, Assistant Vice President of Undergraduate Studies and General Education, and chair of the Department of Art.
Dr. Hussar earned a doctoral degree in Literature from the University of Notre Dame, a master of arts degree in Spanish and a K-12 instructional certification in Spanish from Millersville University, and holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish and certificate in Latin American Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
