At CSUMB, Parker worked with mentor Dr. John Goeltz, building sensors to measure[OH]–. While in France, Parker will expand on this work with Dr. Sylvie Chardon by researching photo and electrocatalytic reduction of CO2 using manganese complexes. Parker stepped off the plane in France and went straight to the French American Workshop. There, he presented on his research and the partnership between the two institutions.
