Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use
CSUMB has public access AEDs located within walking distance from any location on campus. Employees and students are not required to use these life-saving devices, however they are available as an optional response to a life-threatening cardiac event. With it's simple audio and visual commands, the units are designed to be simple to use for the layperson. We encourage and offer monthly opportunities for FREE AED/CPR training for people who may be interested so they can familiarize themselves in advance with a resource they may actually use is a crisis situation.
