Emergency Help

In the event of an emergency, such as you or someone you know is likely to hurt themselves or others, is actively suicidal or homicidal, call 911.

  • Ask for a CIT (Crisis Intervention Trained) Officer to respond
  • Alternately you can contact Monterey County Crisis Intervention (888)258-6029, follow prompt to speak with a Crisis Team Member
  • You can also take the person directly to the emergency room of the nearest hospital

Get Help

Call the Personal Growth and Counseling Center 831-582-3969 if you or someone you know needs help dealing with:

  • suicidal thoughts;
  • severe feelings of panic or overwhelm;
  • news of the death or illness of a loved one;
  • sexual or physical assault.

Regular business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The caller should tell the office manager that there is a need for crisis counseling. The PGCC is physically located within Building 80, 6012 General Jim Moore, Marina, CA 93933.
