Looking for a Roommate Group?

Forming a roommate group can help you live with friends or like-minded peers. However, roommate groups are not guaranteed, and new residents can only form roommate groups with other new residents and those of their classification (e.g., First-Time Freshmen, Transfers). To learn how to set up a Roommate Group, watch the New Residents Housing Application Walkthrough.

Step 1

Complete your Roommate Matching Profile in the MyHousing Portal to help find compatible roommates. We also encourage you to connect with others on Nearpeer.

Step 2

Set up your web profile with a screen name, introduction, hobbies, and contact information to help you find a roommate.

Step 3

You can create or join a Roommate Group by inviting others or searching for a group leader. The priority deadline for roommate preferences is Friday, March 28, 2025.
