Janet Oseguera Valencia

I am originally from San Jose California, however also feel like I am part of Monterey County given that I went to elementary school here in 5th, and 6th grade at Cesar Chavez Elementary School in Salinas. I attended El Sausal Middle School and Alisal High School, and am a proud alum of CSUMB from the HCOM department! I also played college basketball for CSUMB. I just recently got my doctorate in educational leadership, and am so eager to be a part of CSUMB once again. Si se puede!

Scholarly works include:

Dissertation: And Still, I Rise:  Madre Poderosas in the Pursuit of Work-Life Justice in Educational Leadership Roles
