These forums are great opportunities for users and providers of Finance & University Personal business services, University and Corporation, to gather in person to discuss new changes and share ideas regarding operational business practices impacting the University

Fiscal Year End

As Cal State Monterey Bay closes the fiscal year, departments should submit invoices, receipts, travel and procurement requests, and correct/approve budget and payroll transactions by published deadlines. Timely cleanup helps ensure accurate reporting, payments, and a smooth year-end close.

Finance Teams

Accounting

The Accounting team oversees Cal State Monterey Bay accounts payable and receivable, general accounting work and issues, eCommerce, training, travel, and payroll.

Budget Office

The Cal State Monterey Bay Budget Office provides planning and guidance to support budgeting in all academic and operational areas of the university.

Bursar’s Office

The Bursar’s Office oversees all financial transactions recorded on student accounts, including payments, refunds, invoices, collections, installment payment plans and cashiering.

Business and Support Services oversees procurement, contracts and asset/property management. This team provides a program of best business practices, ensures equal opportunity to vendors and provides full accountability for the use of public funds.

Operations Support and Innovation (OSI)

OSI provides access to and support for a range of financial and technical systems used across Cal State Monterey Bay and works to continually improve business processes and efficiency.
