What is BankMobile Disbursements?

California State University, Monterey Bay utilizes BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution powered by BMTX, Inc., to deliver your student refund.

How do I select my refund preference?

  1. Log onto your CSUMB Dashboard
  2. Click on the OASIS link
  3. Under Finances, choose “BankMobile Disbursements”
  4. Select how you would like your money delivered

Please keep in mind that you may not have a refund pending at this time. However, we encourage you to select your refund preference in advance to avoid a delay in receiving any potential student refunds.

What are the 3 refund preferences I have to choose from?*

DEPOSIT TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT 
Money is transferred to an existing account the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school. Typically, it takes 1 – 2 business days for the receiving bank to credit the money to your account.

DEPOSIT TO A BANKMOBILE VIBE ACCOUNT 
If you open a BankMobile Vibe Checking Account (upon identity verification), money is deposited the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school.

PAPER CHECK DELIVERED BY USPS 
A check is mailed the same business day BMTX, Inc. receives funds from your school, provided receipt is within daily cutoff times.  Typically, it takes 5 – 7 business days for the check to arrive, depending on USPS First-Class® delivery timeframes.

*Please note: To avoid any delays in receiving your student refund, you must select a refund option.

What if I already have an account from another school?

Students who have existing BankMobile Disbursement accounts with another school will still have to go through the refund selection process for their account with CSU Monterey Bay.
