Title IX/DHR Ambassador Program
Title IX/DHR Campus Ambassadors carry out important education, prevention, and engagement activities including: bystander intervention, peer support and representing the Title IX/DHR office by tabling at campus events. Members of this important team of student interns assist the Title IX/DHR office with tasks critical to prevention and response for cases of discrimination and sexual misconduct.
Students from all over campus in a variety of majors find that being a Title IX/DHR Campus Ambassador is a rewarding experience, and are proud of their contribution to making their campus a safer and more inclusive environment.
Become an ambassador
Ambassadors are selected in the Fall Semester, with sign up opportunities throughout the year via Campus Tabling events, such as Orientation, Otter Thursdays, etc.
To become a Title IX/DHR Campus Ambassador, students must complete four hours of training, consisting of four sessions.
To sign up for this important, highly valuable opportunity to positively impact your campus, please contact Amy Gessler.
