What To Do After an Auto Accident While Driving During University Business

• The following forms will need to be completed (within 48 hours of accident):
  • Driver - complete the Vehicle Accident Report (STD. 270) form and provide it to your supervisor
  • Supervisor - complete the Supervisor’s Review of Motor Vehicle Accident (STD. 274)  form, review the Driver's STD. 270 form and return both to risk@csumb.edu within 48 hours. 

Basic Details About University Vehicle Insurance

• State vehicles have liability insurance when another party's auto or personal property is damaged
• State vehicles do not all have physical damage coverage to repair the state vehicle. The Facilities auto shop will manage repairs to state vehicle (if no other insurance applies).
• If the other party is at fault in the crash, risk management will oversee the claim process against the responsible driver's auto insurance.
