Take a course at another CSU
There are a number of ways CSUMB students can take classes offered at a different CSU campus without completing the formal admissions process.
CSU Fully Online
CSUMB students can take one online course every term through any of the CSU’s 23 campuses. A “fully online” course is any class that’s offered completely online, meaning there’s no face-to-face instruction with a professor.
Visitor enrollment
CSUMB students can enroll as a visitor at another CSU campus for one term, if they meet the enrollment conditions of the program. Student participation in the intrasystem visitor enrollment program is at the discretion of the appropriate campus authority at both the home and host campuses, and is subject to space availability and enrollment priority policies of the host campus.
Concurrent enrollment
CSUMB students can enroll at both another CSU campus and CSUMB, if they meet the enrollment conditions of the program. Student participation in the intrasystem concurrent enrollment program is at the discretion of the appropriate campus authority at both the home and host campuses, and is subject to space availability and enrollment priority policies of the host campus.
AFROTC at SJSU
CSUMB offers students the opportunity to join the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) through a crosstown agreement with Detachment 045 at San José State University (SJSU). If admitted to the program, concurrent enrollment is required each semester. Please follow the concurrent enrollment instructions to request registration at SJSU.
