Outreach & Presentations
PGCC team members enjoy collaborating with departments, faculty, and student organizations regarding mental health related events. Clinicians are also available to provide presentations and training on a number of requested topics.
Outreach and presentations requests include but are not limited to:
- Info presentation about PGCC services (roughly 15-20 minutes)
- Topic workshops, per request (e.g. stress management, self-care, communication skills, etc.)
- Tabling events (or attendance to zoom hangout/meeting)
- PGCC presence (e.g., panel member, moderator, facilitator)
- Mental health support/PGCC presence (often requested if event is emotionally triggering, e.g., vigils or trauma related events)
In addition, we provide a number of specialty trainings for students, staff, & faculty that provide skills for them to provide support for others and help build community. These trainings include, Mental Health First Aid and training from the National Coalition Building Institute. Learn more about these training opportunities here.
