Cayuse is Coming!

the word cayuse in blue with a horse drawing jumping over it

CPHS/IRB is moving to Cayuse in March, 2025!  And we are also happy to announce that IACUC and IBC will be available later this year.  This new integrated platform will provide you with streamlined forms, ready access to your training certifications (such as CITI), and more intuitive and user-friendly content.  We expect that reviews will be more efficient and communication will be more clear and timely.  Please check back for our FAQ page for more information.

CSUMB is committed to the highest standards of integrity in all areas of research and resolves that such activities undertaken by faculty, staff, and students will be conducted in accordance with rigorous ethical principles and in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies.

CSUMB promotes a culture of compliance, research integrity, and high quality research within the university community. Staff work with faculty oversight committees and boards to promote ethical and responsible conduct of research, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements relating to research, and develop the institution's policies, procedures, and educational programs required by federal and state regulations governing the conduct of research.

Together with these committees, staff facilitate ethical conduct of research through protocol review; monitoring and reporting; regular meetings for review of proposed and continuing research; training for faculty, staff, and students; and maintaining the institution’s assurances with the appropriate government agencies.
